Beagle Fly-in 7th and 8th August 2010 - Success!

As I stated at the weekend, an aircraft without an airport - is like an actor without a stage.   The relationship is symbiotic.   We need each other in order to survive.  With the willing attitude displayed towards your visitors over the "Beagle Weekend", you will surely encourage greater usage of the airport.  Good news travels fast!   Greater usage will benefit the longer term strategy for the airport.  It is one hundred years and one month since Harold Piffard took to the air in the "Hummingbird".   Long may the tradition of innovation and aviation continue at Shoreham in order future generations may enjoy the thrill of taking to the air.

An enormous thank-you to all and everyone that made the Beagle contribution to the airport's Centenary Celebrations - very special.
