The Sky's the Limit Exhibition

NEW ART EXHIBITION OPENS AT SHOREHAM AIRPORT

Shoreham Airport is now running its latest art exhibition entitled The Sky’s The Limit to coincide with the RAFA Air Show. The exhibition will run well into September and includes paintings, prints and photography of local scenery, aviation, the Air Show and Shoreham Airport.

Just some of the local artists showcasing their work are Pat Owen, Stephen Danks, Cliff Carter and Marcus and Rob Finch.

The art is on display in Shoreham Airport’s Art Deco terminal building in the Whispering Gallery, around the busy domed reception foyer. Following the highly successful Art at the Airport Exhibition in June the area has been fitted with a professional art gallery hanging system. This makes it an ideal exhibition space for local artists to hire all year round.

The recently refurbished Airside 2 bar and restaurant and the airport’s Café Express are great places for refreshments when visiting the airport. Both offer stunning views of the runway with the South Downs and Lancing College chapel in the background.

The exhibition can be viewed seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free.
