The following Flying Schools and Clubs based at Shoreham Airport are able to offer a selection of fixed wing aircraft & helicopter flying opportunities, from pleasure flights right through to Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) training.

This year Sussex Flying Club is celebrating our 20^th year of providing high standard flight training, with a friendly club atmosphere. As Shoreham Airport’s longest established flying training organisation we have helped hundreds of pilots to reach their goals, and we will soon be selling our 10,000^th Trial Flying Lesson voucher.

Sussex Flying Club has a fleet of eight highly maintained aircraft, including five very modern and well equipped Piper aircraft as well as three Cessna aircraft. With our friendly and helpful Instructors and excellent facilities overlooking Shoreham Airport from the Main Terminal Building, we are well equipped to take you from Trial Lesson, to Private Pilots Licence and Hour Building, IMC Rating and Night Qualification, right through to Commercial Pilots Licence training. We also offer additional services such as FAA testing and training and Radiotelephony training and practical testing.

We also hold club events and fly outs to enable you to meet other club members, which gives you a chance to discuss a common interest as well as meeting possible flight sharing partners!
